3 A.M.

I am probably one of the worst bloggers. EVER. I try to blog when I can, but somehow it always escapes me (New Years Resolution?). Oddly enough, I LOVE to read other peoples blogs. They inspire me so much to keep moving forward and to become better.

So why am  I blogging at 3AM? Because I miss my babies.. I am 11,000 miles away from them..  and this will be our 1st Christmas apart. I miss them so badly it's starting to sink in.. and it's a horrible feeling. I'm so lucky to see them almost everyday on Skype, although I do miss hugging them, kissing them and maybe sometimes yelling at them to put the seat down lol.. I do find comfort in the fact that I'll be seeing them soon (hopefully by next month.. I haven't seen them since the beginning of November).. and I can't WAIT!

I still need to post the previews for the Mua wedding as well as the Sunia wedding.. I'll get it done this week (yes! I will!). I have so much more during the holiday before I can relax.




I miss you guys sooooooooooo much!!  See you very very very soon!!! *hugs*

Preview - Le Samoa Fashion Show 2010

I went last Friday to go drop off my son at the Tradewinds Hotel in Tafuna.. (long story short: My Dad had a retreat there and he wanted Jay to come sleepover).. and I saw that they were having a fashion show.. Being bored (and nervy) I asked one of the ladies sitting at the ticket desk if I could take some pictures. She asked for a business card (luckily I brought some? lol) and she said it was ok and I had free reign to take whatever pictures. I had to wait for a little while but it was well worth the wait. There were 4 sewing shops that were highlighted that evening (please forgive me if I don't remember all of them.. I'll try and find out who they are).. But they did an excellent job promoting local fashion designers and styles.. I hope that they do have more in the future.. I would definitely love to be a part of future shows.. Here's a preview from that night..

Last Sunday was an eventful day to say the least. Before I babble on.. I'd like to say a few thank yous. To the models: Lauren, Leni, Cherie, Hipa, Anthony, Bruce and Inez.. THANK YOU so much for helping us out!! It meant the world to us.. truly! To my fellow photogs: Timena and Rina.. a HUGE thank you to you guys!! It was too much fun.. We must do it again soon. Last but definitely not least.. I owe a huge debt of gratitude and thanks to Shanel Sam Fong who was the hair and make up artist as well as our bomb stylist who put everything together for our models. Shanel is up and coming and she is beyond BOMB! Thank you again Shanel from the bottom of my heart for everything.
